On the occasion of a meeting with small and medium-sized enterprises, the Prime Minister published on his Facebook page a message about his government’s action in support of SMEs, illustrated by a photograph showing him in front of a stand of Confirel products.

By choosing this visual, he highlights our company which, since its creation, has made the bold choice to promote authentically Khmer products within a sustainable development framework based on circular economy and the inclusion of rural communities.

Faithful to this concept, the company transforms products from the Cambodian terroir into high value-added product ranges, certified organic and compliant with international standards, which allows it to position itself on premium markets while ensuring fair remuneration for its partner farmers.

By contributing to the structuring of value chains around rural producers, Confirel not only guarantees the quality and traceability of its products, but also a more equitable distribution of value along the entire chain, from the field to the final consumer.

Today, this model is cited by several international institutions as a benchmark in sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.

By showcasing Confirel products, the photograph shared by the Prime Minister helps project the image of a Cambodia that relies on its resources and ancestral know-how to build a modern, innovative and responsible economy.

It stands in clear contrast to the negative representations associated with the online scamming centres that have proliferated in Cambodia and underlines that the country can rely on exemplary SMEs to carry an economic narrative based on quality, transparency and sustainability.

The PPM–Confirel Group sees in the choice of this image a clear encouragement addressed to new Cambodian entrepreneurs, urging them to take inspiration from the Confirel model: starting from local Khmer products, investing in innovation, integrating the principles of circular economy and aiming for international standards, in order to build companies that contribute to the country’s prosperity while respecting people, nature and the identity of Cambodia.
